Ferrari's little jewel of
the late sixties and early seventies, said to be the prettiest car
that Ferrari ever produced.
In the opinion of many the lines of this delectable Pininfarina
styled coupé have never been improved upon, incorporating
classic proportions and styling cues that have been used on various
subsequent Ferrari cars ever since.
The Dino was named after Commendatore Ferrari's deceased son, it
was Ferrari's first mid-engined car, and the first car to be produced
by Ferrari in any significant numbers. A light and airy cabin, a
sweet revving mid mounted dohc chain driven V6 Dino engine, 5 speed
gearbox operated through the classic chromed Ferrari gate, race
bred double wishbone suspension and disc brakes all round add up
to a very rewarding drive.
Our Dino, a 1972 European series III has featured in Classic Cars
magazine. It is a two owner car, registered with the Ferrari Owners
Club, that has been fastidiously maintained and prepared by experts,
and is available of course, as a classic Italian thoroughbred should
be, in Rosso red and with left-hand drive. Suitable for highly sensory
road driving or continental historic regularity rallying.
